Fr. Peter Babangida Audu is a Priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Kaduna, in Northern Nigeria. He was born into the polygamous family of Audu and Azumi Jirayi on 5th January in the remote village of Ungwar Jirayi in Gateh district of Ikulu Chiefdom in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State. At the time of birth his parents were strictly traditional worshippers of dodo (Traditional Religion). Fr. Peter speaks Ikulu, English and Hausa fluently.
Fr. Peter has gained years of working experience in areas such as Parish and pastoral work, School administration, and social work. Main area of expertise include administration, Social development, women’s right, Peace building and conflict resolution, Parish and Community development, Prison apostolate, etc.
Team Player, Organiser, Strong Interpersonal relationship, Community Mobilisation, Planning and Logistics, Ability to work in multicultural and different socio-economic settings.
Extra-Curricular Activities
Fr. Peter is a member of Special Marshal, Federal Road Safety Commission in Nigeria; a member of Rotary Club International and member Community Policing.
